I think I just saw that the wind chill currently is -16. And this is the warmest it has been all day. My toes? They be cold, cold, cold.
The kids went to the dentist today for their very first appointments. Connor was a rock star and even handled the X-rays, and whoa -- did you ever imagine that would happen? The got his teeth inspected, cleaned, and floride-ed. They do such an awesome job w/ little kids at the dentist now. They gave him glasses to wear so the light didn't hurt his eyes and they had him hold "Mr. Thirsty" (the spit sucker thing). So good. And? No cavities!
Emmy was like, whoa, what are you doing? And no, I will not open my mouth. Nope, you can't make me crazy lady. She just sat there and stared that hygenist down and didn't say a word. But eventually she got used to the process and even let her clean her teeth a little. This visit was mostly to get her used to the process and they will do a full on cleaning in 6 months.
We joined the CFC yesterday and I went last night for my first workout. I am so out of shape. That's about all I'm going to say about that.
